At the Retina Center, we participate in several multi-centered national clinical trials looking for better ways to treat macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, and retinal vein occlusion. Ongoing trials are listed below.

The following trials offer up-to-date treatments that might not be otherwise available. If your eye problem might benefit from new medication or surgery, our doctors will discuss with you the option of enrolling in a clinic trials. For some patients, studies are not helpful options because of inconvenience or because of other medical problems. The doctor will have a detailed discussion with you to help you decide if a particular study is right for you.
